Jeff was born in Terre Haute, Ind., on March 18, 1947, to Jay and Louise (Jordan) Langford. After a short stint in Terre Haute, his family moved to Sheffield, Ill., where his father opened a small-town pharmacy, beginning a legacy Jeff would eventually carry on.
