Lester was the son of James and Thelma Sanders. He worked at Robins AFB until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his brother Tullis, and his father. He was followed in death by his mother, and sisters Pearl and Thelma. He is survived by his sister Rosenia Sanders Durden and brother Emory F. Sanders. He is deeply missed.
