William Byron Libert, 83, of Hendersonville, NC died Friday, November 1, 1996 at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville. He is a native of Green Bay, Wisconsin, lived in Ocala, Florida before moving to Hendersonville in 1994. He was born to C. Zepherin and Jean (nee Brown) Libert, graduated from West High School and the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He married Lucille Edith Danz on August 17, 1937 in the Hillmar and Pearl Danz home located at 922 S Jackson. They lived in East Chicago, Indiana for some time before moving to Florida. William had been owner of H Danz Company (formerly owner by Hillmar A.E. Danz), and Mink Ranch on Wisconsin 57 near Green Bay.
At the time of his death he was survived by his wife Lucille, three daughters Judith, Susan, and Bettie, as well as five grandchildren. No services were held. Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements. Mr. Libert was cremated in North Carolina. The location of his ashes is unknown.
