Alma M. Ramsaur, passed away September 10, 2005.
She was born August 27, 1916 in Hayes KA (sic) to George and Veronica Heffner. She moved to Washington when she was a young child, growing up and attending school in Centralia.
Alma married Howard Ramsaur July 3, 1935 and moved to the Tacoma area, where she resided the rest of her life. Alma loved to travel, enjoyed camping, fishing, and Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband Howard after 63 years of marriage, and by her son, Howard George.
Alma is survived by her 5 sisters and 2 brothers, by her children Patricia (Roland) Marsh, Butch (Lorrie) Ramsaur, Carol (Merle) Schnick, Tim (Wendy) Ramsaur, and by her 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Franciscan Hospice, 2901 Bridgeport Way West, University Place, WA 98466, who provided such loving and compassionate in-home care and assistance for Alma. Mass will be held Friday, September 16th, at 3:00 P.M., followed by a reception, at Holy Cross Church, 5510 North 44th, in Tacoma.
