Casparus Bosch (Bush) was baptized on 25 August 1683, a son of Albertus Conradus Bosch and Elsje Blanck.

His first name was also written as Caspar, Casper and Jasper.

Merchant and mariner of Manhattan.

He married Jannetje Maden in 1709.

On 23 July 1725, he was the master and owner of the sloop Wheel of Fortune (built in 1712) of Manhattan, which sailed from Rhode Island.

Gravesite Details

Those interred at the Middle Dutch Church graveyard were re-interred elsewhere in the mid-1800s, many in Green-Wood Cemetery. The plaque is where the church once stood. (Credit FAGID# 51536662)
