He was born on November 11, 1959 in Salem, the son of Shirley Mae (Leibhart) Handwork and the late Donald L. Handwork Sr.
He was a graduate of South Range High School, served in the US Navy, was a welder by trade and worked at various locations over the years.
He is survived by his mother and his sister Brenda J. (Robert) Johnson both of Circleville.
There were services with the Salem Honor Guard rendering military honors. He was laid to rest in Grandview Cemetery beside his father.
