Joseph W. Eicher, 85, died at the Tazewell County nursing home Tuesday.
He was born near Danvers, Nov. 26, 1875, the son of Peter and Frances Stuckey Eicher. He married Anna Toft, Feb. 23, 1898. She preceded him in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. George (Fanny) Meisinger, Pekin; three sons, Joe and Elmer, Tremont, Vernon, Searsboro, Iowa; and a brother, Jacob, Mackinaw. He was preceded in death by one son, six sisters and two brothers.
He was a retired farmer.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens at Pekin.
