Colin H. Brown, Jr. 'Brownie', 87, of Ten Rod Road, North Kingstown passed away Saturday at home. He was the beloved husband of Madeline A. (Daniels) Brown for almost 65 years.

Born in North Kingstown (Saunderstown) he was a son of the late Colin H. Sr. and Myrtle L. (Sherman) Brown

Colin and his father operated the Queen's River Dairy Farm in South Kingstown (Usquepaugh) until the early 1960's. He was a truck driver for Drake's Potatoes in West Kingston before retiring. He was a member of the Richmond Grange since the 1930's. He was a communicant of St. Bernard Church.

Besides his wife he leaves his three children, Robert and Shirley Mae Brown of Bethlehem, CT, Thomas and Beverly Brown and Elizabeth and Robert Cummiskey all of North Kingstown; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

His Funeral was held Thursday from the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Bernard Church, 415 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial followed in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to VNS Home Health Services, 14 Woodruff Avenue, Suite 7, Narragansett, RI 02882 will be appreciated.
