AUBURN -- Helen A. (Russell) Aubertine Holmes, 93, of Auburn, formerly of Clinton and Charlton, died Wednesday, May 1, in the Life Care Center of Auburn after an illness.
Her first husband, Charles Aubertine, died many years ago. She leaves a son, Russell C. Aubertine of Worcester; a daughter, Patricia A. Aubertine of Charlton; a twin sister, Ellen Coleman of Greenfield; many nieces and nephews. A brother and four sisters predeceased her. She was born in Wilmington, Vt., daughter of James and Isabel (Whitcomb) Russell, and lived most of her life in Clinton. She lived three years in Charlton before moving to Auburn last year.
She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church of Clinton.
The memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Life Care Center of Auburn Recreation Department, 14 Masonic Circle, Auburn, MA 01501. James E. Watson Funeral Home Inc., 149 Water St., Clinton, is directing arrangements.
