Minnie Prine, 22 Years Here, Dies Early Hour Today
Minnie Prine, 71, wife of Claude Prine and 22 year resident of Grass Valley, died this morning at the Nevada County Hospital where she had been a patient since February 7.
She was a native of Idaho, born August 24, 1886.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter, Mrs. Edward Nunley of Nevada City.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Myers Grass Valley Mortuary.

Graveside Rites For Minnie Prine Dated for Monday
Graveside services for Minnie Prine, 71, a resident of this area for twenty-two years and wife of Claude Prine will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Myers Grass Valley Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
Besides her husband she leaves a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Edward Nunley, Nevada City; daughters, Lily Markham, Red Dog road and Stella Libliga of Galt; step-daughter, Bertha Larsen, Nevada City and Edith Bennett of Colfax; brother, Whitman Smith, Canada and a sister, Vera McDermitt, Mexico-; three grandsons, Ray Clanton, Grass Valley; George Clanton, US Navy at Japan; Richard Prine, Washington; and two granddaughters, May and Betty Clanton of Nevada City.
A Small Book of Greenwood Burials indicates that Minnie L. Prine, age 71, born 1886, died on March 7, 1958 and was interred at this location on March 10, 1958. The said location is "The Clanton Family Plot".
A cemetery list shows Clanton and Prine in Block IV, Lot XI, B. No one here is marked.
The cemetery map shows the Lot as Prine.
CADI states Minnie's MMN: PEA and FA: SMITH.
Minnie married 1st, Albert Clanton. At some time after Clanton's death in 1937, Minnie married 2nd, Claude Prine.
