Lena A. Keithley, 95, of 527 N. Edwards St. died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at Elms Nursing Home.

Born Nov. 24, 1902, in Green County, Iowa, to Elisha and Sarah Hedges Borders, she married James Keithley on Aug. 15, 1923, in Carthage. He died Aug. 3, 1969. One son, Charles, one brother and one sister also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Paul of Springfield, Mo. and Ivan of Northridge, Calif.

She taught in country schools.

Graveside services will be at Oakwood Cemetery.
