Marna J. Quist, 91, of Milan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline. Services for Mrs. Quist will be 11 am, Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Preemption Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Hope Creek Care Center. Marna was born on August 29, 1927 in Aledo, a daughter of Virgil and Lucille (Scherer) Fullerton. She married Norman Quist on April 20, 1946 in Milan. He preceded her in death on March 7, 1995. Marna was a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts and her family. She was a volunteer at Hope Creek Care Center. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Lingle, Rock Island; a daughter in law, Debbie Quist, East Moline; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a special friend, Joe. Marna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman; son, Marty Quist; and brothers, Larry and Ronald Fullerton. The family would like to thank staff of Hope Creek Care Center for the loving care they gave to Marna.
