Walter E. Hahn Jr., son of a Pekin auto dealer, was killed in a traffic accident Thursday night near Valdosta, Ga. Hahn, 18, was alone when his car struck earthmoving machinery. He was on his way to Hollywood, Fla., where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Hahn Sr., live during the winter.

He was born at Pekin Feb. 8, 1943, son of Walter E. and Irene Peterson Hahn. Surviving are his parents; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Peterson of Avon; two sisters, Joanne, in the WAVES in New York, and Jean at home; four half-sisters, Mrs. Dale Slater, Peoria, Mrs. Charles Schraub and Mrs. John Gruber, Pekin, and Mrs. Delbert Bessler, Bartonville; and a half-brother, William Hahn, Pekin.

Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
