He married Elva Massey July 19, 1933, in Pocatello, Idaho; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Survivors: wife, Elva M. Stewart; daughter, Anita (Kenny, MD) Ashby; grandchildren, Brent (Kate) Ashby, Dr. Clark (Mindy) Ashby, Dr. Scott (Tamara) Ashby, Kenna (Nick) Hefner, Alisa (Sean) Ziebarth, Sarah Ashby; 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon at the Murray 3rd Ward, 160 East 4600 South. Friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, and Wednesday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be Thursday, 12 noon at the Vernal City Cemetery.

Of interest this week is the marriage of Miss Elva Massey, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George O. Massey of Jensen and Enoch Stewart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Stewart, also of Jensen, which took place Thursday July 20 in Pocatello, Idaho.

Both are well-known in the community. Mrs. Stewart is an employee of the Mountain States Telephone & Telegraph Company of Vernal and a graduate of the local high school.
