Bobby was a 1962 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and attended Norfolk State University. He was a faithful member of Eastern Light Lodge #4 .
Bobby was a US Marine Corp Veteran. He retired from the Newport News Shipyard.
Predeceased by his parents William and Mildred Selden and brother Christopher.
Survived by his wife Edna R Selden; son Robert (Monique) Selden II; daughter LeKeya (George) Massenburg ;sisters Joyce (James) Daniel and Carolyn Walker; brothers William Selden III and Thomas Selden; and grandchildren Malik, Robert III, Avont and Taylor.
