Betty Frances Schanding, 70, a resident of Grand Haven Nursing Home, Cynthiana, died Sunday, April 7, 1991 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Harrison County, daughter of the late John and Della Franklin Schanding. She was a member of new Friendship Baptist church and was a former employee of Bluegrass Industries. Survivors include a sister, Mary Margaret Bruehl, Hollywood, California; three nephews, Mike Bruehl, Don Bruehl, and Wayne Bruehl, all of California; two aunts; and several cousins. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 17th, by the Rev. Carl Chipley at Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cecil Ray Riley, Richard Faulkner, William Chipley, Ricky Faulkner, Paul Franklin and Jeff Goldie.
