J. B. Andrews Is Dead at 79; Rites Thursday
J. B. Andrews, 79, of 825 N Central, brother of state legislator Red Andrews, died Tuesday in a local nursing home.

Graveside services will be at 2 pm Thursday in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Smith and Kernke Funeral Home.

Andrews formerly was a machinist at the Daily Oklahoman and Oklahoma City Times. He was a veteran of the Mexican Border Campaign and the First World War. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and The American Legion. He had received a 60-year pin for membership in the American Federation of Labor. He attended the Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Julia; two brothers, Jac H. and Red, both of Oklahoma City, and five sisters, Mrs. Dana Mae Seburn, Hollywood, Calif; Mrs. Jess Meaders, 2133 SW 64; Mrs. Addie Reed, of Houston; Mrs. Marian Fine, Albuquerque, N.M., and Mrs. Eva Cassil, Oklahoma City.
