Ada "Louise" (Abbott) Langlois, 91, died peacefully Monday morning at Penacook Place. Mrs. Langlois was the wife of the late Paul F. Langlois.

Her career as a seamstress in Haverhill spanned many years while working for Grads Specialty Shop, Hudson's Apparel of Haverhill and Samuel Roberts. Prior to her retirement in 1979 she was Head Seamstress in the Linen Department at the Hale Hospital. Mrs. Langlois was a member of Fidelity Chapter #90, O.E.S., and Haverhill Shrine #1, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem. She generously contributed her time as a volunteer with the lunch program of the Blind Guild.

Mrs. Langlois is survived by her children, Brent Langlois and his wife Penney, Sharon Cieslik and her husband Michael, both of Haverhill; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and sister Ruth Langlois of Haverhill. She was the mother of the late Roger and Kenneth Langlois, and sister of the late Ray Abbott, Jr.

Friends are invited to the funeral Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Interment at Walnut Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to Penacook Place, 150 Water Street, Haverhill, MA 01830.
