married 4 Dec. 1904, Warsaw, Mo.

Brought by train to be buried. Was the 1st funeral for Caruth Funeral Home on Park Ave.

Became fatally ill as finalized details of new job with Cotton Plant's Cotton Gin.

Was a young infant when him mom, nursing the sick & dying, died of typhoid after a typhoid epidemic struck the Missouri labor camp where they were living. A sister, Emma, 16 (23, when their Dad died), raised him, a sister & brother.

Will was employed with Rock Island Rail Road as a resident engineer when met & married Clell.

A Surveyor & Chief Civil Engineer with Memphis, Dallas & Gulf Rail Road, aka "Mud, Dirt & Gravel" or "Ma, Dad & the Girls", 1910-quit after failed & US Government took over during WWI. MD&G was doomed from its early days by inadequate financing & WWI, through never had lack of dedicated & loyal employees. Will designed & drew MD&G Depot, once stood at Central & Winans Ave., Hot Springs. Construction plans cost $13,000.00. Was contracted to build a RailRoad from Nashville to Hot Springs & offered a sum of money to route the tracks through Murfreesboro, Ar., refused as had already decided that was the best route.

After his wife died his chidren were raised by his sister Emma. Clell had only 1 wish and that was they not be taken to Okla. Emma had no plan to do this as both believed that Okla. had wild Indians.
