Grace I. Jones, 93, Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007. She was born March 10, 1914 in Douglas County, IL to Louis Arthur Appleby and Iva Louolive Neal, who preceded her in death. Grace married Wallace W. Jones April 22, 1934, and he preceded her in death February 14, 1990.
Dr. Grace is survived by her son, Harold E. Jones, wife Evelyn Joyce; grandchildren, Dale E. Jones, wife Laurel, Darla J. Sipes, husband Jonathan; and great-grandson, J. Albert Sipes.
Grace was a homemaker and a 59-year member of the Bible Church, where she served as President of the Ladies' Auxiliary for 33 years. She also served as President of the Indiana District Ladies Auxiliary of the United Pentecostal Church for 8 years and Secretary of the Auxiliary for 10 years.
Services were entrusted to Shirley Brothers Mortuaries of Indianapolis, Indiana.
