Kathryn Elneta 'Nita' Engelking, Seymour, MO, was born December 14, 1926, in Thomasville, MO. She departed this life on Sunday, November 12, 2017, in her home at the age of ninety.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Over the years, she had worked as a dental assistant, a daycare worker, and had retired from Emerson Electric.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Forest Colson; her second husband, Merlin Engelking; and ten brothers and sisters.
Nita is survived by three sons, Donald Lee Colson and his wife, Diane of Savannah, GA; James David Colson and his wife, Sandra of Willard, MO; and Michael Scott Colson of Fordland, MO; two daughters, Marlys Navarro of Santa Fe, NM; and Nancy Brood of Ava, MO; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be before services Friday in the funeral home. Funeral services will be at Friday, November 17, 2017, at Fraker Funeral Home, Inc., Marshfield, MO. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Seymour, MO.
