Married Oct 27, 1853 Henderson Co IL Adalina Babbitt. She died Dec. 20, 1891, at Clear Lake Iowa. Lived some years in Henderson Co. IL, a short time in Missouri, afterward (about 1868) moving to Cerro Gordo Co, Iowa. He was of a jovial disposition and very popular with his friends and acquaintances. Farmer. He died May 28, 1893 at Clear Lake Iowa.
