Mrs. Tate was born in Haywood County May 4, 1949, to the late A.Z. and Ruth Burress Cagle. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Dean Warlick and John Tate, Sr.
Mrs. Tate worked as a home health aide for many years and was also a former employee of Dayco and Steelcase. She loved her family, church, grand kids, and the people she worked for. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by her sons, Roger Warlick of Fines Creek and David Warlick of Waco, NC; special grand kids, Brandon and Brooke Warlick; brothers Doug Burress and wife Cindy of Terrebonne, OR, Johnny and Myra Cagle of Candler, and Lynn Cagle and wife, Gail, of Old Fort; and a very dear friend, Jerry Hoglen of Asheville.
The family would like to thank all the volunteers of Starnes Cove Baptist Church and the pastor, Charlie Sams, for all their help and kindness during her illness.
At her request there will be a celebration of her life service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, at Starnes Cove Baptist Church, where she was a member and which she loved very much.
