Davis, Gary C., 41, left us Tuesday, April 19, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded in his Temple Terrace home by his loving wife, friends and family members. He was born and raised in Miami, Fla., where he also began his lifelong career in aviation. He reached his dream in 2001 when he was hired and trained to fly commercial jets for North West Airlines Regional Carrier. His compassion, quick wit and zest for life earned him several lifelong friends and many new friends along his journey. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A. Davis . He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Davis; mother, Esther Davis ; brothers, Robert, Morgan and Dexter Davis ; and sister, Carol O'Connor. Funeral services will be held 4 pm Saturday, April 23, 2005. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
