He was born June 25, 1915 at Castle, Okla., and moved to Sapulpa 16 years ago from Oklahoma City. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and was a self-employed trucker.
Survivors are his wife, Mildred; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Scott, Joplin, Mo., and Miss Patti Parrish of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Parrish, Stroud, [Oklahoma]; four brothers: Bill, Lubbock, Tex., Ray, Oklahoma City, D. L., Ventura, Calif., and Arla, Edmond, [Oklahoma]; three sisters: Mrs. Garla Claypool, Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs. Dorothy Berg, Bristow, {Oklahoma], and Mrs. Evelyn Randolph, Edmond.
Funeral rites will be at 11 am Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home Chapel [Sapulpa] with the Rev. Jim E. Woolsey officiating. Interment will be in South Heights Cemetery [Sapulpa].
