BOETTCHER - Funeral services for Mrs. Walter (Elsa) Boettcher, 1560 28th Ave., are set for 10 a.m. Friday at Grace Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Columbus Cemetery with Rev. Philip Harris officiating.
Mrs. Boettcher, 92, died Monday at Mory Val [sic] Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 3, 1886 at Columbus to Emil and Anna (Hoppe) Pohl. She attended Columbus schools and married Walter Boettcher on Feb. 4, 1913 at Columbus where she was a lifetime resident. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church.
A daughter, Mrs. Carl (Gretchen) Schumacher of Rapid City survives along with three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Otto of Fremont, Emil and Arthur, both of Columbus, and a sister, Mrs. Frank (Meta) Wurdeman of Columbus.
