Born to James W Benjamin and Lucy "Louisa" Ann - Baldwin - Benjamin in Pennsylvania ; The 1870 census taken 18 July shows Louisa's age as 9, on the 1880 census taken 3 June shows her age as 18. On the 1900 census her birth is recorded as August 1860, In April 1910 her age is 60, on the 1920 census her age is recorded as 56. Louisa Married Benjamin F. McKnight Sr. May 16 1916, She stated she was a widow ( DeWitt Drake died 1915 ) on the marriage license register. Elvira was the 4th of 5 wives of Benjamin F McKnight In her obituary notice of June 1929 it states her age as 70 placing her age again as 1859.
