Carolyn June McClintock Howard, 74, of Ottawa, Kansas passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 9, 2019. She will forever be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met.
Carolyn was born on June 25, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas to Arthur Jerome McClintock and Daisy Bell (Masters) McClintock. She enjoyed reading, all kinds of living animals, playing board games with her friends and shopping. Carolyn was a homemaker and nothing gave her more pleasure in life than spending time with her family. Especially her two grandsons, Titus and Elijah.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Daisy McClintock, her loving twin daughter, Melinda June Howard who passed away in May of 1982 and the father of her children, Melvin Howard who passed away in June of 2006. She is survived by her three children: daughter, Melissa J. Werle of San Diego, California, twin daughter, Michelle J. Neal of Gardner, Kansas and her loving son, Jeffery Melvin Howard of Topeka, Kansas. Left behind to cherish her memory are her two grandsons, Titus Neal and Elijah Neal both of Gardner, Kansas. She will be sadly missed by her many friends in Ottawa, Kansas.
Carolyn will be cremated according to her wishes. Memorial Inurnment 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 15th in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens 13901 South Black Bob Road Olathe, Kansas 66061. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City 5445 Parallel Parkway Kansas City, Kansas 66104
