Services for Frances F McGrath, 73, of 431 E. 31st St, Davenport, will be 10 am. Wednesday at St. Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. today at Halligan-McCabe Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 8pm. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's poor fund. Mrs. McGrath died at Ridgecrest Village health wing Davenport.
She had retired from teaching in the primary grades of the North Scott Community School District. Frances Fay married Edwin J. McGrath in 1932 in Davenport. He died in 1946. Mrs. McGrath was a member of the national and local Retired Teachers and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma organization.
Survivors include daughters Mrs. Gerald (Mary) Patterson, Davenport, and Mrs. Apolonio (Ann) Coronado, Kennewick, Wash: a son, Patrick, Davenport and eight grandchildren.
