William A. Spradley, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018, at the age of 77. Loving husband of the late Agatha "Atie" Spradley; beloved son of the late Arthur and Effie Spradley; devoted father of Kelly A. (Stan) Greer, William J. (Chris) Spradley, Juanita (Mark) Zinkl, Danielle M. Spradley and Stephan M. Spradley, and dear Friend of Linda Fischer; dearest brother of Betty Knox and Ron Spradley; cherished grandfather of eight, treasured great-grandfather of 12. Preceded in death by his two brothers, Carl Roach and Gerald Roach.

William proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He worked for McDonnell Douglas as an Electrical Engineer for over 25 years before retiring. He was a member of the Saturday Writers Club and was a Scout Master for many years. William was a lifelong sailor, published author, and a world traveler. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
