Lillian C. Houtz, 98, of Lewistown, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at Ohesson Manor.

Born May 20, 1920, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Harry H. Ruhl and Lillian C. (Steinmiller) Ruhl.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Houtz, in 2011.

Lillian is survived by several nieces and was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

She was the owner, along with her husband, of Ruhl’s Clothing and Prep Shop.

Lillian was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lewistown and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at the Barr Funeral Home and Crematory, 120 Logan St. with Rev. Karen McCachren officiating. Interment will be in Lind Memorial Cemetery.

There will be a time of visitation with the family from 1 p.m. until the time of service, at the funeral home.
