Mr. Arnold passed away in Marshall on Thursday, January 10, 2019. He was born in Harrison County on April 24, 1931 to Ida Mae and Kelly T. Arnold, Sr.
Mr. Arnold proudly served his country in the United States Army. He owned and operated Arnold Trucking for over 20 years retiring in 1993. Kelly was a longtime member of the Elks Lodge, American Legion and the Knights of Pithiest. He was a “colorful character” and a true outdoorsman. Kelly owned and raced dirt track cars, fished, hunted, loved camping and traveling with his wife in their RV. He also enjoyed playing dominos, and was a Texas Hold’em champion! Above everything else, Mr. Arnold loved his wife and family and will be missed by all that knew him.
Mr. Arnold was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Arnold; a granddaughter, his parents, and two brothers, Raymond and Edward Arnold. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty Arnold; son, Richie Arnold and wife Vickie; daughter-in-law, Sherrie Arnold; six grandchildren, Michelle Storie and husband Ted, Christy Thompson and husband Tim, Kelli Arnold, Jonathon Arnold and wife Hillary, Tiffany Arnold, and Billy Arnold and wife Jami; sister, Gladys Fant; numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, out-laws, and friends!!
