BRISBIN — Christine D. DeLattre, 93, of Irwin Street, Brisbin died Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Penn Highlands Clearfield.
Born July 2, 1924 in Houtzdale, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kowal) Harchak.
She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court St. Victoria 646, and the former Houtzdale Fire Ladies Auxiliary.
Christine was employed as a secretary for Dr. Gilckman in Brooklyn, N.Y. before moving to Brisbin.
She is survived by two daughters, Audrey Gonsiorek of Del Ray Beach, Fla. and Mary Ellen Balsack of Spokane, Wash., two grandchildren, John and Sara Gonsiorek, and two great-grandchildren, Celine and Angela Gonsiorek.
Also surviving are two sisters, Margaret Shimchok of Clearfield, Patricia Bailey of Ohio; and a brother, Frank (Mildred) Harchak of Houtzdale.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband John A. Balsack on Feb. 19, 1970; husband William A. Timmersman on Jan. 7, 1987; and husband Homer DeLattre Sr. on Sept. 5, 1994.
Also preceding her were her parents; a brother, John Harchak; a sister, Elizabeth Hensel; two infant sisters; and a grandson, John Thomas.
Family and friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, Houtzdale with the Rev. Fr. Marc Solomon as celebrant.
Interment will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery, Houtzdale.
