Walter B. Johnson
1928 - 2018
Walter B. Johnson, age 90, of Neenah, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 after a brief illness. Walter was born on June 3, 1928 in Kemster, Wisconsin son of the late John and Mae (Anderson) Johnson. After graduating from high school he was enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1946 until 1952. Walter married Patricia Bishop and she preceded him in death in 1999. He was active with the Disabled American Veterans, enjoyed playing golf and cards and going to the casino. Walter was an avid Packer, Badger and Brewer fan and enjoyed watching all the games. He was also a member of First United Methodist Church of Neenah.

Walter is survived by two sisters, Margaret Saul and Gerry Mueller, two special God sons, Bill Mueller and Kevin Alt, a special niece, Barb (Brad) Alt, many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, a step-son, Russell Haas, a brother, Arlin Johnson, 3 sisters, Ione Dugan, Alice Ward and Edith Schoneck-Bork; a nephew, Evan Schoneck and a niece, Susan Dugan.

Funeral services for Walter will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 7, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, 108 W. Doty Ave., Neenah. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in Walter's name.
