Florence Octavia was the daughter of Joseph Arnold and Anna Dove Arnold. She was born in illinois and moved to Lincoln, Furnas, Nebraska with her family circa 1880. She married Philip Scheer in 1883 and remained living out the rest of her life in Furnas County Nebraska. She was the mother of six children all born in Nebraska Anna, Claude, Josephine, Edna, Fredrick and Leroy Clinton.
