Aida has always been a very determined person. She flew on her own to St. Louis and found her way to the Petersville neighborhood home of her father-in-law, Fred, even though she spoke very little English at the time. Aida was always a concerned and dedicated mother who involved herself in all of her children's activities. Whether in St. Louis or Evansville, IN, James and Aida opened their doors to those in need and were active members in the churches they attended along the way. Aida was the bookkeeper in James' businesses, provided interpreting for Cardinals baseball players, volunteered at church activities and loved to cook for her children and grandchildren.
Aida was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years James Robnett, Sr., daughter Carmen, father Rafael, mother Antonia, sister Clara and sister Carmen Figueroa.
She was interred on Janury 7, 2019.
