Sharon was a homemaker who enjoyed coloring and knitting. She attended school at New Market and Ladoga.
Born Dec. 24, 1944 in Thorntown, she was the daughter of Lewis E. Baker and Mae Shillings Baker. She married John Crane, Sr. and he passed away Nov. 7, 2016.
Surviving family includes: three daughters, Waneta Craig, Mavis Bray, Melissa Monreal; two sons, Jim Carver, Ryan Leslie; four brothers, Lewie Baker, Bill Baker, Dave Baker, Jon Baker; seven sisters, Jean Perkins, June Casey, Beckie Dowdell, Naomi Wertz, Lois Whitehead, Ruby Reedy, Cathy Overfelt; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by: son, Robert Crane; daughter Rachel Billingsley; two brothers, Sam Baker, Dean Baker; two sisters, Betty Lott and Janet Jones.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 PM Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 at Burkhart Funeral Home. Cremation will take place after the visitation.
