Thomas Ervin Brindle, age 69, died on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at his home in Fort Wayne and went to Heaven to live with his beloved Lord Jesus. Mr. Brindle was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 18, 1949 to the late Max Edward Brindle and Nora Mae (Hakes) Brindle Farber. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy from 1967-1971. He married Marveta Gayle (White) Roberson on August 11, 1990 at Cornerstone Wesleyan Church, Merriam, Indiana. Tom was employed for 31 years with the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier before retiring in 2004. He was a bone marrow donor and proud of the fact that he extended the life of a 21 year old man through bone marrow transplant. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. Tom loved to cook, fish, and tend to his garden. He loved traveling and visiting with people. He attended First Assembly of God Church and volunteered as a bus driver. He also volunteered with Christian Literature for Africa.

Wife, Marveta Brindle of Fort Wayne.
Son, Gabriel "Gabe" (Lisa) Brindle of Leo.
Daughter, Eve (Joshua "Josh") Cockram of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Sara Pio of Southside, Alabama.
Son, Roy Roberson (Kathy Fredricks) of Fort Wayne.
Son, Ben (Anastasia "Stacie") Roberson of Conifer, Colorado.
13 grandchildren: Brooke, Austin, Caleigh, Rozilynn "Rozi" and Jesse Roberson; Paige, Jonah Mae and Hudson Brindle; Bella and Obie Hensley; Jorja and Nolan Cockram; and Mathias Pio.
Brother, Ted (Betty) Brindle of Fort Wayne.
Brother, Terry Brindle of Fort Wayne.
In-laws; Shirlene (John) Oakes of Cleo Springs, OK; Lelan White of Olivehurst, CA; Gordon (Donna) White of Mutual, OK; Elton White of Ardmore, OK; Carolyn (Charles) Thiessen of Aurora, CO; Ruthelma (Eliot) Hunter of Marysville, CA; and Lenard (Barbara) White of OKC, OK.
He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
His greatest wish for each of you would be that you meet him in heaven!
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Timothy Brindle and Trenton Brindle; his parents, Max and Nora; his step father, Clarence O. Farber, Jr.; and his sister-in-law, JoAnn Brindle.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 7th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at First Assembly of God Church, 1400 West Washington Center Road, Fort Wayne.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM at First Assembly of God. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM at the church. Pastor Jim Rea will officiate the memorial service.
