Graveside services for Thomas Edward Waugh, 57, of 407 Locus St., Marshall, were at 4 p.m. today at Pope City Cemetery in Woodlawn with the Rev. David Whitmire officiating. Arrangements are by the Sullivan Family of Funeral Directors.

Mr. Waugh died at 3:06 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 1988, at University of Texas Medical Center, Tyler.

He was born March 16, 1931, in Woodlawn, a son of Thomas Henry Waugh and Pearl Coleman Waugh. He attended Marshall public schools and married Shirley Jean Waugh on March 16, 1982, in Marshall. He was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jean McBride in 1982.

Survivors include his wife of Harleton; four sons, Francis McBride of Marshall, David McBride of Dallas, Jerry McBride of Kentucky and Johnny McBride of Longview; and 14 grandchildren.
