He was born in Paterson, NJ. He lived most of his life in Bayville, NJ. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and operator of R & E Plumbing and Heating of Bayville for over 30 years before retiring.
He enjoyed traveling and taking vacations with his wife and family. He was an avid fisherman and loved being on the water.
Mr. Acquaire is predeceased by his beloved wife, Evelyn in 2009, his son, Robert “Bob” Acquaire in 2006 and by his mother, Viola Acquaire. Surviving are his 2 children: Kelly Gmeiner and husband Ambrose and Richard Acquaire and wife Ann; 4 grandchildren: Desiree, Tyler, Casandra and Gabriella, 1 great grandchild, Scarlet, along with several other nieces, nephews and relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 from 2pm - 4pm at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Atlantic City Boulevard, Bayville, NJ 08721.
