Janice Kay Krueger, of Oklahoma City, passed away January 2, 2019 at the age of 70. She was born December 26, 1948, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to William & Hester Katrina (Townsend) Allbritton.
Janice loved to go shopping. She loved garage sales, thrift stores, estate sales and antique malls. Janice loved to decorating and she was very meticulous about it, and it always had a theme and it had to match!! She especially loved Christmas and decorating for the holidays. Her family said she was “The Queen of Decorating.” Janice loved watching the Hallmark Channel. She was very involved in her kid’s school. She served as Homeroom Mother, PTA, and she was the church treasurer. Janice enjoyed bowling. She was a kind and loving woman. Her first love was family functions and spending time with her family.
Janice is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Krueger, of 53 years, who lovingly took care of her 24/7, of the home in Oklahoma City; 2 daughters, Rhonda Jones & husband, Mike, of Oklahoma City, and Lisa Shoemaker, of Oklahoma City; 1 son, Ron Krueger, Jr., of Oklahoma City; 9 grandchildren, Michael Jones, of Oklahoma City, Kasey Krueger (#1), of Oklahoma City, Amanda Pipkins & husband, Noah, of Edmond, Brittany Shoemaker, of Oklahoma City, Brandon Jones & wife, Victoria, of Moore, Gary Brock Shoemaker & wife, Alice, of Oklahoma City, Brayden Shoemaker, of Norman, Angel Allen, of Oklahoma City, and Joshua Krueger, of Oklahoma City; 14 great-grandchildren, Devlyn, Steffi, Dylan, Gibson, Julian, Harrison, Logan, Katie, Emily, Junior, Zoey, Bailey, Harry & Theo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William & Hester Allbritton; her son-in-law, Gary Shoemaker; 4 brothers, Gary, Larry, Johnny & Billy Allbritton; and great-granddaughter, Presley Shoemaker.
The family will receive friends and family from 4-6pm, Sunday, January 6th, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, OK. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm, Monday, January 7, 2019, at OKC Bethesda Church, 3101 SW 89th, Oklahoma City. Interment to follow at Blackburn Cemetery, Norman, OK. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home.
