Emma was born in New York on July 12, 1921 as the third daughter of the late Alfred and Pearl Albright. She spent her early years in the Nanticoke area before moving to Wilmington in 1938. She married Arthur B. Wilson in 1941 and raised her family in Wilmington before moving to Captain's Cove in retirement.
Emma was an active member of First Baptist Church in New Church. She was an avid gardener.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Arthur. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara (Thomas) Kelso of Spring Lake Michigan, Susan Denis and family of Foley, Alabama, and Ann Wilson (Cecil Linscott) of Frankfurt Maine; a sister, Ann Whedbee of Denver; three grandchildren, Chick Kelso, Curtis Kelso and Leslie Ball; and 8 great grandchildren.
