Everett Lee Moats was born in Weir City, Kansas, December 12, 1891, the son of Albert L & Lydia Moats. He departed this life July 22, 1949, in Denver, Colo. He was united in marriage October 23, 1913, with Miss Pearl Bradshaw who survives him. Also his mother, Mrs Lydia Moats, of Columbus; two brothers, Rev. John Moats of Belleville, Ark., and C.R. Moats of Birmingham, Ala.; four sisters, Mrs Ray Dickey of Bakersfield, Calif., Mrs Evelyn Estes of Coalgate, Okla., and Mrs Harold Lafferty of Falls Church, Va.
Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church at Lehigh, Okla., July 25, with Rev. Ordrey Bell pastor of the Baptist church in charge. Burial was in Lehigh cemetery.
