Donna Bixby Rowe, 81, of Norway, went to be with the Lord, very peacefully, on Nov. 29, 2018 at the Market Square Health Care Center.
She was born on Apr. 20, 1937, in Richmond, a daughter of, John and Harriett (Grover) Bixby. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1955.
Donna worked in stores in Richmond and Gardiner, was a caregiver to several elderly ladies in Norway. Her last job was in the Sears Catalog Store in South Paris.
She married Lloyd Rowe in 1966 and they enjoyed 52 years together. Donna played the piano beautifully and accompanied Lloyd when he played the keyboard in churches and family reunions.
Donna is survived by her husband, Lloyd of Norway; her brother, John Bixby, Jr. and his wife, Susan of Winslow; niece Rebecca Martin of Monmouth; nephew, John Bixby III of Norway. She was predeceased by her parents; her sister, Sylvia Ashby; her brother, Elden McKee.
