Born January 20, 1938 in Darwin, Illinois, he was the son of Allen and Nora (Bryant) Albertson.
Albert retired from Prudential Insurance after 21 years of service. He was a member and Deacon at Woodhaven Christian Church and a member of the Bloomington Toastmasters and Bloomington Exchange Club. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
Albert is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Withycombe) Albertson, of Bloomington; his two sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Jeannette Albertson, of Bedford and Mark and Amanda Albertson, of Paoli; one brother, Ernest "Tiny" Albertson, of Orleans, Indiana; one sister, Kay Leeds, of Champaign, Illinois; four grandchildren, Sara Albertson, Kaitlin Albertson, Ashley Magnus and Christopher Albertson and one great-granddaughter, Cora Jane Magnus.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, eight sisters and five brothers.
