Mr. John Wagster, Jr., 80, of Melody Lane, Hartwell, passed away Friday, December 28, 2018 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center, Athens GA.
Born on June 9, 1938 in Marked Tree AR, he was the son of the John Wagster Sr. and Elsie Wagster. Mr. Wagster was Owner/Operator of Lee’s Mfg. and Engineering and of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his son, Lee Wagster of Hartwell. Several nieces & nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Irene Belcher Wagster.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell with Matthew J. Belcher officiating. Burial will be in the Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The body is at the Strickland Funeral Home of Hartwell, where the family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday afternoon. The family will be at the home.
