Henrietta Jones was the child of John Jones (b. 17 Sept 1837 in Manchester, England) and Suzannah Carter (b. 18 Apr 1838 in Manchester, England). She married James Henthorn (b. 8 Sep 1868 in Saddleworth, Yorkshire, England) on 7 April 1888 St. James Parish, Lancashire, England. They had eight children three of whom were born in England and the remaining five were born in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Her husband, James, divorced her when he was in his mid-sixties and married Mable Anderson. With her he fathered one more child. and died in 1940 at age 72. Henrietta died in 1947 at age 83.
