Jack was born September 14, 1932 in Zwolle, LA but a lifelong resident of Shreveport after serving in the U.S. Navy. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, gardening, and dancing.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Dave and Azella Mouser; wife, Vera Vernell Mouser; brothers, John (Buck), Tom, and Charlie Mouser; and sisters, Marie Drew and Irene Pickens. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Evelyn Edgard and Patsy Brandon and husband Jack; five generations of nieces and nephews; special friend, Frances Rowe; and his beloved companion, Lucky.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Mouser, Adam Mouser, Brandon Garsee, Justin Mouser, Roger Dew, and Spencer Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Don, D.C., Henry, Maurice, Nettie, Bobby R. Jimmy, Bobby D. Bill, and Reagan from Spar Dominoes Club.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all the doctors and staff at the WK North Critical Care Unit, especially Dr. Rickman for his compassion and guidance.
