Mrs. M. L. Ridout, whose death was announced in yesterday's paper was the mother of Mr. M. L. Rid out of this place and made her home withMr. Ridout. She had recently gone to Lockhart on avidity where she died. Her remains were buried in Lockhart.

Mrs. M. L. Ridout, mother of our townsman, Mr. W. L. Ridout, died last Friday at 3:15 p.m., and was buried at Clear Fork cemetery the next day. Mrs. Ridout was 84 years and 5 months old, and was a most estimable lady. The family have our sympathy in this their sad loss.-Luling Signal.
