Robia Hanks Grim, 83, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Sunday December 23, 2018 in Fort Smith.
She was born June 7, 1935 in Akron, OH to Albert and Ella Mae (Williams) Hanks.

She was a retired LPN, a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and a U.S. Air force veteran of the Korean Conflict. Robia was a volunteer at St. Edwards Medical Center, helped with the formation of the Aids Foundation from 1988 thru 1996 and was a former member and past Matron of the Oriental Star Chapter #6 in Misawa, Japan.

She was preceded in death by one son Robert Alan Grim and a sister, Betty Sasser.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; one daughter, Laura Jean Pitman of Oklahoma City, OK; one son, Bill Grim of Houston, TX; two sisters, Bobbie Phillips of Gettysburg, PA and Nancy Harrald of Brighton, TN; one brother, Albert Hanks of Tuscaloosa, AL; four grandchildren, Sarah Harris and her husband Troy, and Rachel Grim, Rhonda Pitman and Vance Pitman and his wife Leslie; three great- grandsons Jason Harris, Gavin and Layton Pitman.

Private burial will be at U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.
